In Our Own Words has been developed in response to desire on the part of teachers for more guidance and information on how to incorporate First Peoples materials into their instruction and assessment practices. The eight units in this teacher guide illustrate examples of how authentic resources can be incorporated in Grades K-3 through lesson plans, outdoor components and resources.
