Lac du Bois Grassland Protected Area Public Review
A draft management plan for Lac du Bois Grasslands Protected Area is now available on the BC Parks website for public review. The management plan for the protected area outlines the vision, objectives, and strategies to guide the management of the protected area for the next 10 to 15 years. The management plan was developed through a collaborative process involving BC Parks, First Nations, partners and the public. The management plan aims to protect and maintain the ecological integrity, cultural heritage, and recreation values of the protected area, while also promoting education, research, and tourism opportunities. The management plan also addresses the challenges and opportunities posed by climate change, invasive species, adjacent land use, and visitor use.
