Description
The Environmental Farm Plan (EFP) and Beneficial Management Practices (BMP) programs are complementary programs designed to help producers reduce their impact on the environment and increase their resiliency to climate change while increasing on-farm efficiency and profitability. Producers who have a completed and current EFP may be eligible to apply for cost-shared incentives.

The BC Cattlemen’s Association (BCCA), manages and delivers the program through a directed common goal approach to address watershed resource concerns, encouraging sustainable land management practices in support of the agricultural sector.

Description
SARPAL is a pilot program to assist cattle ranchers with implementing habitat conservation measures on the ranch for at risk species. This pilot program is designed to assist cattle producers in adopting management practices that benefit their ranch operation as well as the species. Funding is available for the program until March 31, 2025.
