People love the Thompson-Nicola for its climate, outdoor recreation, beautiful vistas and world-class wines. But growing populations, land development, intensive recreational activities, agriculture and other factors reduce the ability of our natural spaces to thrive and continue to support the economic and social benefits we enjoy in our communities.

Today, the Thompson-Nicola is one of the four most endangered areas in our country. TNCC partners work to conserve the last wild places — spaces that provide homes for an abundance of wildlife and for humans to connect with nature. Our work brings together the resources and influence of 35 partner organizations, all working on conservation in this area. Together, we strive to protect the exceptional diversity of wildlife and habitats and the quality of life that the Thompson-Nicola area offers.
